Custom portraits
Do you illustrate any animal?
Yes! Although Daisy inspired The Daisy Effect Co., I'd love to illustrate any furry, fluffy or feathered friend.
Can you illustrate more than one pet?
Of course! I'd be delighted to illustrate more than one furry friend. Whether it's two, three or even four, I'd love to capture them together. If you'd like to include more than one pet, please pop me a message for a custom quote.
How do custom portraits work?
Every custom portrait is personally illustrated by myself and thoughtfully designed to capture your pet's unique personality. To ensure each piece receives the time, care and attention it deserves, I release a limited number of spaces each month.
Once all spaces have been filled, portrait bookings will close until the next month.

Do you do proofs beforehand?
In an effort to get your order to you as quickly as possible, proofs aren't automatically included. However, if you'd like to see your artwork before it goes to print, please select the proof option when placing your order and I'll happily send one over for your approval.
Can I change the order after it's been placed?
If you need to make any changes to your custom portrait, please pop me a message within 30 minutes of placing your order and I'll do my very best to help.
Need to change your delivery address? Please get in touch as soon as possible. I'll always do my best to update it, but unfortunately I can't guarantee changes once your order has been processed or dispatched.
Photo guidelines
To help me create the best possible illustration, please keep the following in mind:
1. Let there be light ☀️
Upload photos taken in good natural light where possible. Avoid heavy filters or dark images, as these can affect colours and details.
2. The closer, the better 📸
Choose clear, close-up photos taken head-on, showing as much of your pet as possible, including their ears, face and any special markings.
3. Avoid blurry photos 👀
Sharp, in-focus photos allow me to capture all those little details that make your pet unique.
4. Show off their personality 🌼
If there's a particular expression, pose or quirky feature you'd love me to capture, be sure to include it! The more reference photos, the better.
5. I'll do my very best 💛
I'll always do my very best to work with the photos you provide. If I think another image would help create an even better illustration, I'll be in touch to request some alternative photos.
Returns and delivery
Can I return my custom portrait?
Due to the personalised nature of custom portraits and made-to-order items, I'm unable to accept returns or exchanges on these products. However, if there's an issue with your order, please don't hesitate to get in touch and I'll always do my best to help.
If your order is not personalised, please pop me a message and I'll be happy to discuss your return options.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Most of our keepsakes, including personalised designs, usually arrive within 3–7 working days.
Our bespoke pet portraits are individually created for you and require a little extra time, so please allow approximately 7–14 working days for your order to arrive.
What are your delivery charges?
Delivery is FREE on all UK orders.
There are no additional delivery charges at checkout - delivery is already included in the price of your keepsake.
Looking to order from outside the UK?
International orders are available through our Etsy shop, where you can view available delivery options and estimated delivery times for your location.
Am I able to cancel my order?
For non-personalised items, please get in touch as soon as possible and I'll do my very best to help.
Custom portraits are created especially for you, I begin working on them as quickly as possible. If you change your mind, please pop me a message within 30 minutes of placing your order and I'll happily arrange a refund.
After 30 minutes, I'm unable to guarantee cancellations as work on your portrait may already have begun.
